Cecil "Pat" Blaylock

Cecil "Pat" Blaylock, 90, of Harriman, passed away Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at his home.
He was an avid fisherman and member of South Harriman Baptist Church for many years. He was also a decorated World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anderson and Lavada Blaylock; brother, Everett; and sisters, Vernell Barnett and Janie Johnson.
Survivors include his wife, Frankie Morgan Blaylock, Harriman; daughters, Diane Trout and husband Don, Janice Parham and friend Liz, and Donna Housley; son, Larry Blaylock and wife Phyllis; sisters, Barbara Roberts, Betty Lou Smith and Annetta Walker; brothers, George Blaylock and Hubert Blaylock; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; special nieces and nephews, Bruce and Paula Walker, Chane and Brenda Goldston, and Ray and Sylvia Brackett; special friends, Mickey Harvey, and Paul and Betty Ann Goddard.
Funeral was at 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, in Kyker Funeral Home chapel, Harriman, with burial at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Roane Memorial Gardens. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Kyker Funeral Home, Harriman. www.kykerfuneralhomes.com
