Donald Lee Langley, 78, of Wartburg, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013, in Parkwest Medical Center, Knoxville.
He was a member of Piney Baptist Church in Oakdale. He retired as a correction officer with Brushy Mountain. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Georgia Langley; sisters, Evelyn Bonifacius and Bobbie Jean Mathis; grandson, Matthew D. Rose; son-in-law, Chris Kyker; and brother-in-law, Lynn Leopper.
Survivors include son, Kevin Langley and wife Brenda; daughters, Maria Rose and husband Lyndell, and Julia Bartlett and husband Gerald; grandchildren, Mitchell Kyker, Kristen Kyker, Sarah Rose and fiancÃ© Tom LeComte, and Christian Renfro; great-grandchild, Alexis Rose; sisters, Anita Brock and husband Garland, Peggy Summers and husband Chester, Mary Leopper and Brenda Davidson; nieces and nephews, Butch, Dee, Carol, Cynthia, Sherry, Jamie, Misty and David.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, in Piney Church in Oakdale, with the Rev. Pat McGee officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
