Dorothy V. Trumpy, 96, of Monroe, Wis., died Friday, Dec. 13, 2013.
She graduated from Monroe High School in 1934 and Green County Normal School in 1935. She taught for nine years in various one-room schoolhouses. She married Harvey Trumpy on June 2, 1940, and was a homemaker and mother to their three children. She was an active member of various community and church clubs, an avid golfer, enjoyed traveling and thoroughly enjoyed life.
Survivors include sons, James Trumpy, Madison, Wis., and John Trumpy, Clayton, Calif.; daughter, Joy Goldberg, Kingston; granddaughters, Eirene Heidleberger (Brian), Chicago, and Leigh Hopf (Fred), Largo, Fla.; and great-grandchildren, Cole, Grey and Wells Heidleberger. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and son-in-law, Paul Goldberg.
