James A. "Jim" Limburg

James A. "Jim" Limburg of Kingston went home to be with the Lord on his 85th birthday, Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013.
He had been a deacon of Tennessee Missionary Baptist Church for 41 years. He retired from U.S. Air Force after 21 years, and retired from Y-12 after 18 years. He loved to golf, was an avid gardener and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Margaret Limburg; several brothers and sisters; daughter-in-law, Jane Limburg; and two grandchildren, Adrian Limburg and Danin Hill.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elsie Beason Limburg; children and spouses, Keith and Darlene Limburg, Pennsylvania, Russell and Wanda Limburg, Kingston, and Teresa and Tommy Hill, Alabama; grandchildren, Kevin Limburg and special friend Jay Taylor, Derek Limburg, LaBron and Daphne Hill, Shaun and Misty Hill, Nathan and Lacy Limburg, Christopher and Ashley Burchfield, Amy and James Cornett; and great-grandchildren, Hunter, Jarrett, Kendall and Ethan Hill, James Limburg, Cain and Eli Burchfield, Brayden and Levi Cornett.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, in Tennessee Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Gene Colvard and the Rev. Dustyn Copeland officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Tennessee Missionary Baptist Church, 1812 James Ferry Road, Kingston, TN 37763.
