Judith "Judy" Tedder Norman, 66, of Harriman, passed away at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville on Saturday, July 19, 2014.
Mrs. Norman was a member of Big Emory Baptist Church in Harriman. She was a nurse LPN who worked many years at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She was a member of the East Tennessee Nursing Association. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. Mrs. Norman was preceded in death by parents, Ben and Ruby Tedder; and half-brother, Jack Tedder.
She is survived by husband of 23 years, Curt Norman, Harriman; son, David Currier (Lisa), Virginia Beach, Va.; daughter, Michelle Teague, Harriman; sisters, Beverly Marshall (John), Harriman, and Deborah Kittrell, Harriman; brothers, Ben Tedder (Betty), Rockwood, and John Tedder (Carol), Austell, Ga.; four grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; stepsons, Mark Norman (Kim), Petros, Todd Norman (Kelly), Coalfield, and Brian Norman (Delores), Winfield; stepdaughter, Lisa (Ron), Muncie, Ind.; several nieces, nephews, cousins, along with many friends.
Funeral and visitation arrangements were as follows: Monday, July 21, in the chapel of Evans Mortuary, Rockwood. Family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral followed at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Neil Crass officiating. Interment/concluding services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, at Roane Memorial Gardens, Rockwood. Family and friends met at the cemetery for the services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the Big Emory Baptist Church building fund on Webster Road in Harriman in memory of Mrs. Judy Norman.
