Leah Kathryn Terrill, 37, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012, following a short medical illness at Vanderbilt Surgical ICU in Nashville.
She was born on Jan. 24, 1975, to Harry and Linda Terrill. She was a 1993 graduate from Harriman High School, Harriman, and then in 1997, graduated from the University of Tennessee, where she was a member of the Pride of the Southland Marching Band. She was a sister in Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. She was a member of Kingston First Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Smoky Mountain Parrotheads and Nashville Parrotheads. She loved being known as a Parrothead. In 1998, she made her home in Nashville, where she was employed by V. Alexander Worldbridge Inc. as an export analyst until her death.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Sgt. William T. Richardson and Eva Louise Tate Richardson; paternal grandparents, Raymond Stanley and Ruby Bishop Terrill; and paternal aunt, Joan Terrill Putnam.
She is survived by her parents, Henry Harrison "Harry" and Linda Terrill, Harriman; her paternal aunts, Barbara Polk and Jacqueline Harbison (John); maternal uncles, Lawrence Edwin Richardson and Lynn Thomas Richardson; her cousins Mark Putnam (Mary), Michele Cassan (Steve), Vince Polk II (Alana), Erin Parr (Jay); special second cousins, Andrea, Amy, Jennifer, Sarah, Lauren, Ryan, Carley and Miranda Rose; and special honorary uncle and aunt, JR and Jeannie Slaten, Louisville, Ky.
A celebration of her life was at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, in R. Dudley Barton and Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, Ga. Her parents greeted family and friends from 5 to 7 p.m.
