Marion Rose

Marion Rose, 75, of Harriman Gardens, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012.
He was of the Baptist faith and loved watching gospel singing daily on BBB Communications Cable Channel 12. He was a E-6 staff sergeant veteran of the U.S. Army who served his country proudly and received letters of commendation for his service of aeromedical evacuation of several seriously burned patients and invaluable efforts of working all through the night to see to their care while serving in Iran, also for providing the communications subscribers in Africa and the Middle East with rapid, reliable and secure communications and as stated from U.S. Army Headquarters, he performed the impossible in a timely manner on more than one occasion. He was so very happy when asked to participate in the church service at Liberty Baptist Church in honor of veterans this past July. Pastor Randy Griffis and his congregation will never know how blessed he felt just to be accepted as part of the celebration.
He will be taken back home Friday, Sept. 21, for a graveside service with full military honors conducted 3 p.m. Friday in the Field of Honor at Butler County Memorial Park in Hamilton, Ohio. Friends visited at their convenience from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, in Fraker Funeral Home, Kingston, or online register book may be signed at www.frakerfuneralhome.net.
