Melvin Lawrence Moore

Melvin Lawrence Moore, 89, passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, in University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville, from complications from an auto accident.
He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Clymersville Baptist Church in Rockwood and a member of the VFW.
He was preceded in death by parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Moore; and a son.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Marie Moore, Rockwood; a son, Mardy Moore (Bonnie), Monroe, Mich.; a daughter, Mindy Underwood (Scott), Kalamazoo, Mich.; stepsons, Chuck Frady, Rockwood, and Dudley Frady, Rockwood; stepdaughter, Lisa Frady Stevenson, Rockwood; three grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Roane Memorial Gardens, Rockwood. The Rev. Charles Kelley will be officiating. Full military honors will be performed by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard. Burial will be in the Veterans Section of Roane Memorial Gardens. Evans Mortuary, Rockwood, is in charge of arrangements.
