Myra H. Silvey

Myra H. Silvey, 86, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday Jan. 22, 2014.
She was a member of Centerpointe Community Church in Naples, Fla., and Trinity Baptist Church in Harriman. She was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and taught many Sunday school and Bible study classes in her lifetime. Before retirement she was the vice president of Harriman Welding Supply; after retirement, she moved to Naples. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Elgene Fredrick "Tut" Silvey; parents, Noah and Helen Emery Harding; and sisters, June Collins, Margie Miller and Rose Harding.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Fred and Carolyn Silvey, and Thomas and Josephine Silvey; grandchildren, Bryan, Carolyn and Jean Silvey; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, in Kyker Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Bill Keele officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations be made to Trinity Baptist Church, 1729 Harriman Hwy. Harriman, TN 37748. Burial will be at Willard Park Cemetery.
