Pauline White Davis

Pauline White Davis, 81, of Kingston, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Roane Medical Center.
She was born June 13, 1933, in Kingston and was a lifelong resident of Roane County. She was a member of Tennessee Baptist Church. Mrs. Davis had worked in years past as a seamstress at Palm Beach and Levi Straus in Knoxville. She was an avid seamstress and loved quilting and making ceramics. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lilly Jane Adcox White; son, Gary William Davis; sister, Nora Mae Keener; brothers, Charles and Jim White and Elmer and Martin Thomas; and stepson, Paul Shepherd.
Survivors include husband of 67 years, William R. Davis, Kingston; sons, Paul Davis, Kingsport, Danny Davis and wife Tammy, Kingston, Harold Joe Davis and wife Lois, Kingston, and Stacy Davis and wife Sandy, Kingston; grandchildren, Joe, Mark, Jamie, Danny R. Davis and wife Becky, Robert Lee Davis and wife Sara, Stephanie and Travis Davis; great-grandchildren, Joseph Hunter, Zoe Paige, Mary Norene, James Cameron, Avery Brent, Ansley Loren, Allison Harper, Nick, Braden, Eli and Noah Davis; stepgrandchildren, Joshua and Anthony Kuhns, James Evan Keith and kids; brothers, Robert White, Lenoir City, Elden Thomas and wife Rosie, Kingston, and Paul Thomas and wife Sherry, Loudon; sisters-in-law, Joyce White, Philadelphia, Alice Thomas, Midtown, Linda Thomas, Kingston; a host of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, in Fraker Funeral Home, Kingston. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 10, in Tennessee Baptist Church, with the Rev. Paul Russell White officiating. Burial will follow the service at Tennessee Baptist Church Cemetery.
