Reba Ryans Hancock, 91, of Rockwood, passed away Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, in The Bridge at Rockwood.
She was born Dec. 1, 1921, in Rockwood to Harry Watson and Laura Ruth Helton Watson. She was a member of Rockwood First Baptist Church and was a retired inspector with Kayser-Roth hosiery mill in Harriman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Dallas Ryans and Eulis Hancock; brothers, Clifford Watson and Raymond Watson, and son-in-law: Teddy Monday.
Survivors include daughters, Louise Woodall and husband Jack, Kingston, and Carolyn Monday, Rockwood; stepsons, Bill, Mike and Jim Hancock, Strawberry Plains; grandchildren, Karen Kirkland and husband Mark, Crossville, Mike Monday and wife Tammy, Rockwood, Kim Monday, Rockwood, Kathy Rickman and husband Jimmy, Maryville, and Kristy Melson and husband Jeff, Rockwood; great-grandchildren, Chad Eichelberger and wife Ann Marie, Chattanooga, Erin Daniels and husband Preston, Kingston, McKinley Melson, Rockwood, Emily Melson, Rockwood, Megan Monday, Rockwood, Will Rickman, Maryville, Andrew Rickman, Maryville, and Grant Kirkland, Crossville; great-great-grandchildren, Ali Daniels and Chandler Eichelberger; nephew, Paul Ed Watson; and niece, Phyllis Woodall.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, in Evans Mortuary, Rockwood. Funeral services followed at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, from the chapel of Evans Mortuary. Graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood. Memorial contributions may be made to Rockwood First Baptist Church, P.O.
