Albert Harley Rose, 83, of Harriman, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, in Roane Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.
He was a faithful charter member of Harriman Baptist Tabernacle. He was a long-time employee of Roane Hosiery and the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene G. Rose.
He is survived by his two daughters, Debbie and husband Stevan Currier, Harriman, and Rita and husband Larry Seay, Chuckey; two sisters, Lucy Kirkland, Harriman, and Barbara Brinkley and husband Mickey, Ellijay, Ga.; a brother-in-law, Alvin Gibson; three grandchildren, Kim and Tony Clower, Tammy and Scott Harvey, and Lori Henry; five great-grandchildren, Sydney Henry, Taylor and Caden Clower, and Olivia and Brady Harvey; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday July 19, in Harriman Baptist Tabernacle. The funeral service was at 7 p.m. with Dr. James Jones, Bro. Jeff Parrott and Bro. Ed Parton officiating. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday July 20, at Roane Memorial Garden, Rockwood.
