Anna R. Dupree, 83, of Kingston, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012, in Roane Medical Center in Harriman.
She was born Oct. 1, 1928, in Hiltons, Va., moving to Kingston in 1946, where she spent the remainder of her life. She loved spending time with her three daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Quentin F. Oran; her parents, William and Lola Lunsford Sampson; her grandmother, Marinda Lunsford; a brother, C.R. Sampson; and a sister, Betty Ledbetter.
Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Kolski and husband Frank, Kingston, Sharon Oran, Kingston, and Mitzi Skinner and husband Bob, Cocoa, Fla.; a brother, Wayne Sampson and wife Diane, Wilmar, Minn.; three sisters, Helen Lane, Kingston, Margaret Willis and husband George, Webber City, Va., and Beverly Lakes, Blanchester, Ohio; six grandchildren, Frank Kolski Jr. and wife Stephanie, Kingston, Edward Kolski and wife Darla, Kingston, Chief Warrant Officer 4 Freddy Jackson, Colorado Springs, Colo., Kelly Jackson, Kingston, Courtney Skinner Licata and husband Frank, Cary, N.C., and Lindsay Skinner, Kingston; four great-grandchildren, Courtney Kolski Surles and husband Will, Tacoma, Wash., Sophia Kolski, Quentin Kolski and Brody Kolski, all of Kingston; a host of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, May 25, in Fraker Funeral Home, Kingston, with funeral service to follow at 4 p.m. in the chapel, with Rev. George Willis officiating. Graveside service will follow at Lawnville Cemetery in Kingston.
