Carmen Blake Coleman, 65, of Cornersville, Tenn., passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2012.

He was a member Verona Caney Baptist Church of Lewisburg, a Mason, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was retired from GM Motors.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Coleman; and his parents, Daniel and Bertha Coleman.
Survivors include his wife, Crystal Renee Coleman; Cornersville; a son, Daniel Blake II and Michelle Coleman, Michigan; a grandson, Daniel Blake Coleman III, Michigan; a stepson: Rick Hamblen, Florida; a grandson, Christopher Hamblen, Fort Bragg, N.C.; a stepdaughter and son-in-law: Candace and Shane Brooks, Arab, Ala.; two grandchildren, Laney and Trent Brooks, Arab; eight sisters, Wanda Lou and Charley Brown, Crossville, Anna Faye and Johnny Long, Franklin, N.C., Henrietta and Moses Maggard, Philadelphia, Joy and Jim Thompson, Cleveland, Shelia and Kevin Charles, Pikeville, Ky., Sally Jo and Mike Turner, Paris, Ky., Ruth Caines, Pikeville, and Brenda Carol and Doug Frasure, Pikeville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger Odell and Ruby Coleman, Bidwell, Ohio, and Donald W. and Sally Coleman, Pikeville; several nieces and nephews.
The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, in Kyker Funeral Homes, Sweetwater. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, in Johnson Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ted Pegram officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery, with full military honors.
