Carroll David Alexander, 79, of Louisiana, formerly of Rockwood, passed away Monday, Oct. 28, 2013.
He was a member of Rockwood United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean conflict. He also was retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He loved traveling the world. He traveled extensively to Italy, Germany, Japan, Korea and Saudi Arabia. He was a loving brother who cherished his family.
He was preceded in death by a daughter; parents; and four brothers.
He is survived by a daughter; sister, Marilyn King (Charley), Rockwood; special niece, Dianne Alexander (Johnathan and Jacob), Haughton, La.; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial and visitation services were in Evans Mortuary, Rockwood, from 11 a.m. to noon Monday, Nov. 4. A Masonic service followed in the chapel at 11:40 a.m. Burial was at Oak Grove Cemetery, Rockwood, with full military honors by the United States Air Force Honor Guard.
