David Dwane Beeler, 58, of Kingston, passed away Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, in the Karns community after a lengthy illness.

He was born July 30, 1954, in Loudon and had been a lifelong resident of this area. He was a member of Southwest Point Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served his country proudly during the Vietnam era and received a National Defense Service Medal during his time of service. He was employed with TVA as an assistant unit operator for 35 years before retiring. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arlie and Virgie Mae Price Beeler.
Survivors include children, Justin Beeler, Kingston, Andy Beeler and wife Lori, Philadelphia, and Tiffany Beeler, Philadelphia; mother of children, Tracy Winterbirg, Knoxville; sisters, Dovie Beeler, Harriman, and Dena Hill and husband Chuck, Kingston; three grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
The family received friends from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, in Southwest Point Baptist Church, with funeral service following the visitation at 6 p.m., with the Rev. Albert Gentry and the Rev. Larry Bolden officiating. Graveside service was at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at Wildwood Church Cemetery in Kingston. Fraker Funeral Home, Kingston, was in charge of arrangements.
