Jack T. Grant, 68, of Knoxville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013.
He was born April 2, 1944. He was retired from Norfolk Southern. He enjoyed working in the garden and watching the Vols and Colts play football. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Mary Grant; his first wife, Ruby M. Shadden; and grandson, Zane Bruhin.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Grant, Knoxville; daughter, Tracey Brown (David), Indianapolis; son, Kevin Grant, Knoxville; stepchildren, John G. Bruhin (Natalie), Knoxville, Kim Anderson (Mike), Knoxville, Arthur Miller (Becky), Honolulu, and Jason Miller (Shaunda), Trinity, Fla.; grandchildren, John N. Bruhin, Jessica Brown, Jacob Anderson, Austin Brown, Garrett Anderson, Shelby Anderson, Noah Bruhin and Jeyla Miller; brother, Jerry Grant of Gadsden, Ala.; sister, Judy Hollstein (Jimmy), South Lake, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and hosts of friends.
Memorial/visitation arrangements are as follows:
Tuesday, Jan. 8 â€" Visitation was from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of Evans Mortuary, Rockwood; memorial service was at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel of Evans Mortuary, with Ryan Shannon officiating.
