Joanne Agnes Klovski Dorrans passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer in her home in Lenoir City on Tuesday, June 4, 2013. She was 79 years old.

She grew up in Dearborn, Mich., raised her family in Northampton, Ohio, and retired in Lenoir City.
She is survived by her husband, John Dorrans, of 58 years. She is also survived by her daughters, Susan Holton (Sean Gallagher), Lenoir City, Nancy Dorrans, Portland, Maine, and Betsy Saneholtz (Scott), Whitehouse, Ohio; grandchildren, Luke Holton, Ben Holton, Michele Saneholtz and Renee Saneholtz; stepgrandchildren, Justin Gallagher and Brittany Gallagher Hampton; and brothers, Bob Klovski (Gail) and John Klovski (Henrietta).
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill Klovski (Sandy) and Ed Klovski (JoAnn). She was very close to her large family of nieces and nephews and was known lovingly as Aunt Joanie. She worked at Greenfield Village in Dearborn as a guide, was a Girl Scout leader for many years in Northampton and worked several other places throughout her life but is best known for her work with the babies at day-care centers in Hudson, Ohio. She was a wonderful wife and mother and loved every minute of it, never knowing a stranger.
A memorial service was Thursday, June 6, in Bradbury United Methodist Church, Kingston. Receiving friends was from 4 to 6 p.m.; service at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Andrea Rose Teodosio Foundation, P.O. Box 109, Munroe Falls, OH 44262.
