Leldon L. "Don" Watts, 74, of Kingston, passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, in Parkwest Medical Center.

He was a member of Lawnville Road Church of Christ. He was born Dec. 30, 1937, in Huntsville, Ala., moving to Tennessee, where he was a 1956 graduate of Rockwood High School. He was past club president of Kingston Optimist Club, awarded for outstanding leadership from 1972-73. He had worked in power operations with TVA and also in Egypt before retiring in 2000 from Florida Crush Stone Corp. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Stephen Watts; and parents, Leldon Harold and Nell Omega Poole Watts.
Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, June Blake Watts, Kingston; son, Gary D. Watts and wife Aimee, Kingston; daughters, Donna Peterman, Houston, and Kathryn Clutter and husband David, Broken Arrow, Okla.; grandchildren, Heather Mills, Brett Watts, Morgan Peterman, Clint Peterman, Mary Clutter and Andrew Clutter; two great-grandchildren, Stephen Mills and Cash Peterman; brother, Jack A. Watts and wife Prima, the Philippines; sisters-in-law, Linda Lennon and husband Mike, Tamarac, Fla., and Racine Blake, Rockwood.
Celebration of life was Monday, Nov. 12, in Lawnville Road Church of Christ in Kingston with Gary Hoss officiating. Fraker Funeral Home, Kingston, was in charge of arrangements. An online register book can be signed at www.FrakerFuneralHome.net.
