Micheal Andre Goins, 41, of Harriman, passed away May 10, 2014.
He was employed by Knoxville Metropolitan Police Authority as a public safety officer. He served in the United States Marine Corps. Micheal loved riding his motorcycle and was a member of American Legion Post 232. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Herbert Goins Sr. and Jaybee Dickens Sr.; cousins, Eric Moore and Charles Gallaher, father, Rue Eskridge; grandfather, Elder Rue Eskridge; and grandmother, Catherine Eskridge.
Survivors include his wife, April Goins, Harriman; daughters, Haylee Goins, Harriman, and Micaela Goins, Harriman; best friend, Bugsy; father, Jaybee Dickens Jr.; mother, Elizabeth Goins Dickens; sisters, Angela Brown, Tammie Dickens, Tasha Dickens, Amber Eskridge, Chelsey Eskridge, Leona Bazil and Melissa Cozart; brothers, Antonio Goins, Abdula Goins, Chris Eskridge, Larue Eskridge and Rue Eskridge Jr.; nieces, Keyona "Chuckie," Breyona "Vampire," Brittany "Chicklet," Kyra "Cryra," Jordan "Macy Gray," Jordyne Blevins, Kayleigh Blevins, Shylynn Goins, Delaney Ferguson and Carley Thompson; nephews, Trenton Goins, AJ Goins, Christopher Goins, A'marion "Roaddog" and David "Road Dog; grandmother, Josephine Goins "Grandma Wezel;" uncles, Ernie Goins, Willie Goins and Herbie Goins; brother-in-law, David Brown "Dark Vader;" mother-in-law, Theresa Cagle; father-in-law, James Cagle; sisters-in-law, Jamie Thompson, Tracy Goins and Amy Goins; and special friends, Mel Clemons, Jason Gordon, Bryan Farmer and Mike Hall.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Kyker Funeral Home chapel, Harriman, with interment to follow at Roane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Harriman High School gym.
