Patricia Ann Clayborne Stepp, 70, of Kingston, passed away Monday, June 26, 2017, at her home.
She was born July 11, 1946, in Kingston and has been a lifelong resident of this area. She was a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church and attended Roane State Community College as well as Tennessee College of Applied Technology, where she received her CNA certification and dental hygienist certification. Pat was an avid gardener who enjoyed working with flowers, gardening, collecting antiques, and her favorite times were those spent with her great-granddaughter, making a gnome garden. She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Bruce Stepp; parents, Daniel and Jean Marie Clayborne; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bruce James and Marjorie Lillian Stepp.
Survivors include loving husband of 54 years, Gary R. Stepp, Kingston; daughter, Tammy L. Stepp, Kingston; son, Roger Jason Stepp, Kingston; grandchildren, Heather Phillips Hall and husband Robby, Lancing, Gabriel Stepp, Kingston, Matthew Stepp, Morristown, and Michael Daugherty, Kingston; great-granddaughters, Jenessa and Jaycee Ann Hall of Lancing; brothers, Danny Clayborne, Kingston, Tommy Clayborne and wife Susan, Kingston, and Lewis Clayborne and wife Pam, Harriman; sisters, Bobbie Tipton and husband Jim, Kingston, Betty Herrell and husband Lynn, Kingston, and Dorothy Bass and husband Harvey, Oak Ridge; sister-in-law, Sara Jane Tinker, Knoxville; brother-in-law, Wayne Stepp and wife Charlotte, Morristown; and a host of extended family and special friends who will miss her very much.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 28, at Fraker Funeral Home, Kingston. Funeral service will follow the visitation at 7 p.m. in the chapel with the Rev. Kenny Rains and the Rev. Ronnie Nickell officiating. Graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 29, at Kingston Memorial Gardens.ÿAn online register is available at
