Pauline Louise Speich Howard, 90, of Westel, passed away in Roane Medical Center on Monday, July 8, 2013.

She was a member of Westel Baptist Church and the WMU. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to the Westel community. She was preceded in death by parents, John and Sara Speich; husband, "Jimbo" Howard; son, James E. Howard; sons-in-law, Delbert Golliher and Clarence Hayes; four brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by sons, Jerry Speich (Betty), Westel, and John Howard, Westel; daughters, Darla Baird (Onnis), Westel, Kay Hayes, Westel, and Gail Comer (Darrell), Westel; daughter-in-law, Renee Howard, Westel; sisters, Evelyn Keylon, Chattanooga, and Eva Coley, Amherst, Ohio; sisters-in-laws, Minnie Abels, Daysville, Helen Howard, Rockwood, and Olen Speich, Houston; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Visitation was from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, July 12; funeral was at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Gary Speich and the Rev. Wayne Keylon officiating, in the chapel of Evans Mortuary, Rockwood. Burial and concluding services followed the funeral at Oak Grove Cemetery, Rockwood. Her final wishes included that in lieu of flowers, make memorials to Westel Baptist Church.
