Priscilla H. Streit, 97, of Kingston, passed away peacefully Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, at her home.

She was born Nov. 18, 1916, in Youngstown, Ohio, and had been a resident of Roane County for more than 45 years. She and her late husband started the Senior Bowlers League of Midtown more than 40 years ago. She was an avid bowler and golfer and also enjoyed square dancing in her earlier years. She was preceded in death by her husband, John P. "Jack" Streit; and parents, John and Priscilla Lovas Kader.
Survivors include sister, Florence Manning, Albion, Pa.; nieces, Bridgett Angelotti and husband Dennis, Erie, Pa., Brenda Spelmack, Albion, and Ginger Wurst and husband Earl, Albion; nephew, Rodney Manning and wife Elaine, Erie, Pa.; special friend, Barbara Pickering, Kingston; a host of extended family and friends
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, in Fraker Funeral Home, Kingston, with a celebration of her life following at 2 p.m. in the chapel.
