Reba Esteen Phillips, 95, of Oakdale, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 27, 2013.
She was a devout Christian and a faithful member of Oakdale First Baptist Church, where she attended until her health deteriorated. She was preceded in death by parents, Foster and Mary Jennings; husbands, Nathan Phillips and Avery Farmer; daughter, Judith Ellen Farmer; brothers, George, Edward and Albert Vowell and William, John, Franklin and Floyd Jennings; and sisters, Annie Hill and Jessie Hamby.
She is survived by daughters, Peggy and Buck Miller, and Tina and Wayne Young, all of Oakdale; grandchildren, Jimmy Jones, Tammy and Bryon Adkisson, Jackie and Steve Kerns, Jeannie and Mark Neeley, all of Oakdale, Kevin and Holly Long, Harriman, Chris Young, Oakdale, Ryan and Chaya Young, Kingston.
She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 29, in Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m., with Pastor Ron Nickell officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at Crab Orchard Cemetery, Oakdale.
