Ruth N. Hengstler, 86, of Kingston, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at her home.

She was a member of Morrison Hill Christian Church and retired from Martin Marietta Energy Systems' Oak Ridge National Lab after more than 39 years of loyal service, where she received numerous achievement awards. She and her late husband, Jimmy, received recognition for their square dancing with the Rambling Rebels of Oak Ridge Square Dance Club. She was preceded in death by husband, Jimmy Hengstler; parents; and sister.
Survivors include nieces, Shirley Stearns, Toledo, Ohio, and Barbara and husband Steve, Columbus, Ohio; and many friends.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 22, in Kyker Funeral Home chapel, Kingston. Burial will be at Wartburg City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday in Kyker Funeral Home, Kingston. www.kykerfuneralhomes.com
