Freida Ann Bandy, 56, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Parkwest Medical Center.

She was born on July 1, 1957. Freida was a lifelong member of Bradbury United Methodist Church in Kingston. She enjoyed writing cards and letters, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She was retired from the Roane County School System, where she taught special education.
Freida was preceded in death by her parents, Ross Bandy Jr. and Edna Brashears Gibson; grandparents, Ross Bandy Sr. and Florence Bandy; and Clayton and Martha Brashears.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Saundra Bandy, Kingston; aunts, Polly Hensley and husband Ken, Kingston, and Rose Kirby, Oak Ridge; uncles, R.C. Brashears and wife Marie, Huber Heights, Ohio, Tom Brashears and wife Lynn, Kingsport, Frederick "Bud" Brashears and wife Lorene, Jim Brashears and wife Margie, and David Brashears and wife Patti, all of Lenoir City; and lifelong friend, J.T. Robinette, Lenoir City.
The family received friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 26, in Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Bradbury United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Bradbury Cemetery. www.clickfuneralhome.com
