Rose Lynn Duff Turner, 81, of Lenoir City, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014, in Kindred Nursing Home in Loudon.
She was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. She was employed in the area of Christian Education at churches in the Holston Conference: Athens, Chattanooga and Harriman. Rose enjoyed needlework and collecting antiques. She helped develop Duff-Turner Estates and worked with the Lum Duff Clan Scrapbook. Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, James C. Turner; parents, C.V. "Lummie" Duff Jr. and Mayme Clyde Justice Duff; and niece, Linda Marie Duff.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, C.V. Duff III and Bettie Haga Duff; three nieces, Judith Arlene Cunningham, Rhonda Jean Dover (Chris) and Jennifer Gail Pendleton (Bruce); several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins; and special caregivers, Avery and Betty Harvey.
Memorial services are being planned and will be in Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd United Methodist Church. Click Funeral Home, Lenoir City, is in charge of arrangements.
