Sheila Faye Wilkerson Gordon, 64, born on July 4, 1950, in Harriman, was the third child born to the late JB and Mary L. Wilkerson.

She died on Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Parkwest hospital in Knoxville, with her family by her side. Sheila was called from her earthly home to her heavenly home following a brief illness.
Sheila was a loving devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Sheila was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Stratton Gordon; her parents, JB and Mary L. Wilkerson; sisters, Pamela Ann Wilkerson and Mary Katherine Gordon; and brothers, Randy Eugene and John Robert Wilkerson. Shelia accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age when she was a member of Mark Chapel Holiness Church in Harriman. Sheila had the heart that cared completely. Shelia had the smile that brought so much pleasure. Sheila had the love that brought joy beyond measure. Sheila was a devoted caretaker of her brother Bo "Charles".
Those left to cherish her memories are her three children, Otis and Jennifer Gordon, Jason and Miranda Gordon, Harriman, Monicat and Coy Turner, Maryville, Ternesha Gordon and Terell Gordon, Maryville; sister, Lorene Mifflin, Portland, Conn.; brother, Charles "Bo" Wilkerson, Harriman, aunts Mattie Pendergrass (Pumpkin), Josephine Goins (Wezel), Lucy Robinson (Willie James), Linda Hawkins and Wanda Wilkerson (Tiny); her devoted brother and sisters-in-law; as well as many nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and relatives. She was loved and will be missed by her grandchildren, Damian Miller, Marstratton Gordon, Jonavin Turner, Hayden Hughes, Bryson and Makayla Williams, Spencer Seamer, Jessica Reed Nichy and Niasia Gordon; great- grandchildren, Maleaha Miller and Isaiah Miller; devoted nieces, Diane Wiley and Talarisha Wilkerson; and special friends, Becky Miller, Chesney Norris, Shirly Rocex, Bobby Miller and Angie Hyatt.
Funeral will be at 5 p.m. Friday, July 11, in Kyker Funeral Home, Harriman. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday in Kyker Funeral Home. Interment will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 14, at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 5901 Lyons View Pike, Knoxville. www.kykerfuneralhomes.com
