Douglas Cooper Boone, 58, of Kingston, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013.
He was an instrument machinist working in the tool room at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his father, C.A. Boone; and brother, Ronnie Boone.
Survivors include mother, Louise Boone, Kingston; son, Morgan Boone, Rockwood; sister, Pilar Boone Sutton, Lenoir City; brothers, Steve Boone, Vonore, and Mike Boone, Kingston; and special friend, Amy Swanson, Minnesota.
Family and friends gathered at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at the home. Kyker Funeral Home, Kingston, was in charge of arrangements. www.kykerfuneralhomes.com
