John Ellis Keylon
John Ellis Keylon, 82, of Kingston, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013, in The Bridge at Rockwood.
He was retired from Kingston TVA Fossil Plant after 28 years and was a member of Local Engineers 917. A U.S. Navy veteran, having served during the Korean conflict, he was member of Concord Baptist Church in Farragut.
Survivors include wife of 58 years, Nida Keylon; sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Susan Keylon, and Scott and Jan Keylon, all of Kingston; brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Martha Keylon, Harriman; grandchildren, Courtney and Isaiah Keylon; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, in Kyker Funeral Home chapel, Kingston. Burial was at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at Kingston Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the , 871 N. Weisgarber Road, Knoxville, TN 37909. The family received friends from noon until 2 p.m. Saturday in Kyker Funeral Home, Kingston.
