Deborah Sue England, 59, of Callaway, and formerly of Capels, W.Va., passed away Monday, July 29, 2013. She was born June 17, 1954, to the late James Owen England Sr. and Letta Zell Bolden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael England Sr. Deborah was an extremely hard worker who lived for her family, especially her son and grandchildren. She always put others before herself and loved everyone she met. Deborah loved watching the cooking channels and was a very good cook herself. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Kelly England; grandchildren, Kaylin and Dylan; sister and brother- in-law, Donna and Roy Hurley, of New Castle; brothers, James Owen England Jr., of Smith Mountain Lake and Brian England, of Florida; special uncle, Butch England; nieces and nephews, Deborah and Charles Hearn and family, Lori and Donnie Wayne Fisher and family, James Owen England III., Michael England Jr. and family, Brian Dalton Fink and family, Jessica England, Jessica Thomason and family, Breanne England, TJ England and family; special friends, Dean and Donna Cannaday and Mary Moore; and numerous cousins and other family.
Funeral services will be conducted from Bethlehem Church of the Brethren at 2 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2013, with Pastor Bill Hinton officiating. Interment will follow in Windy Hill Family Cemetery, 3512 Dillons Mill Rd., Callaway. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 1, 2013, at Conner~Bowman Funeral Home, Rt. 220 at Wirtz Road, Rocky Mount, VA 24151.
