Helen Harden Cooper, 93, of Wytheville, passed away Saturday July 6, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Charles Wesley and Annie Cregger Harden and a member of Crockett Tabernacle Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Miller "Bill" Cooper, sisters, Thelma Stewart and Louise Wright. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Peggy Cooper, of Wytheville; grandchildren, W.M. Cooper, Stephen Cooper, Michael Cooper; great-grandchildren, Amber Cooper, Tessa Cooper, Clark Cooper, Julianna Cooper; great-great grandson, Hayden, great-great granddaughter, Layken; sisters and brothers-in-law, Julia and Roy Groseclose, of Wytheville, Leona Porter, of Wytheville, Charlotte and Gordon Johnson, of Vinton. Several nieces and nephews also survive
Funeral service will be held Monday, July 8, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the Grubb Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Richard Collins, with entombment in Rosewood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Rural Retreat.
The family will receive friends at Grubb Funeral Home, Monday from noon until service time. In lieu of flowers donations may be to the Crockett Tabernacle Church. Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
