Helen Virginia Eddy Lang, beloved sister and aunt, of Roanoke, died Monday, April 29, 2013 at the age of 99. She was a longtime member of West End United Methodist Church, a graduate of Randolph Macon Women's College, and a former teacher and meteorologist for the City of Roanoke. Helen was the widow of Walter Bernard Lang and was preceded in death by an infant child, her brothers, William, Raymond and John, and her sister Mary. She is survived by one sister, Frances B. Eddy, of Roanoke; and numerous nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; great-great-nieces; and great-great-nephews.
Her family invites you to celebrate Helen's life at a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at West End United Methodist Church, 1221 Campbell Ave, SW., Roanoke, Virginia, 24016.
