Bruce Chittum Obituary

Bruce Edwin Chittum, 54, of Ferrum, passed away Friday, August 27, 2010. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dina Marie Chittum; son, Benjamin Edwin Chittum; mother, Mildred Chittum; brother, Tommy Chittum. Surviving are his father, Joseph Chittum; sister, Sharon Harmon (Charlie); daughter and son-in-law, Christy Marie Bailey and husband, Dallas; sons and daughters-in-law, Jacob Chittum and wife, Julie, Jason Chittum and wife, Melissa; eight grandchildren, Stirling, Caleb, Keith, Clayton, Evelyn, William, Nathaniel and Luke. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, August 30, 2010, from Flora Funeral Chapel with Elder Billy Boone officiating. Interment will follow in Chittum family cemetery. His family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount and other times at the home of Jason and Melissa Chittum, 10 Bitty Hill Lane, Ferrum, Va.
