We just heard o Larry's passing. Our hearts are sad and grieving. Larry was very special to our family in many ways. Kim and RJ will never forget how you guys opened your home to two foster kids who needed a temporary home. Although they only spent a couple of weeks with Larry, they remember so many things he did with them. He was so giving of his time and love. We are all better people to have known him. Erik and Cheryl, You are in our daily prayers.

Larry never failed to make me laugh. I've known him all my life and I can't imagine a world without him. I'll miss him deeply, but have had so many good memories and times that even now I can't help but smile when I think of him, and always will.

To the Amy family, especially Erik, I was so saddened to hear of Larry's passing. I used to see Larry almost daily at The Meadows and he was always so friendly and engaging. I had no idea that we were both in the 101st Airborne in Vietnam and I would have loved to have shared stories with him. Erik your dad was very interested in your golf development and we talked at length before and after your lessons on your progress. We are all just passing through but I am sorry Larry had to leave early. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

There was not one time Mr. Amy did not make me smile. God has not created many people as kind and caring as Mr. Amy. Being my roommate's father, I saw Mr. Amy on several occasions. Every time it was a blessing. He has a beautiful family and made everyone feel loved and important. He will always be remembered for being a true person who put everyone else before himself. I hope Mr. Amy knows that I will always be there for his wife and his son for comfort. God Bless the Amy family.
