Boyd Edward Jones

Boyd Edward Jones, 93, of Pulaski, passed away Sunday May 30, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Pulaski county April 20, 1917, he was the son of the late Lula Dalton Jones and Roby Jones. Also preceding him in death were his wife, Geraldine Farmer Jones, a grandson, Richard Davis "Richie" Jones, II and his brothers and sisters, Julia Morris, Nell Dalton, Coy Jones, Carrie Jennell, Lonnie Jones and Phyllis Williams. He was a retired employee of Pulaski Furniture Corp. and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. The Family wishes to thank Dr. Kaatz, Advanced Home Health Care and caregivers, Lisa Bishop, Barbara Archer, Tamica Rodriguez, Donnie Hale, Mary Jane Ramsey and John Jones. Surviving are sons and daughterin-law, Thomas E. Jones, Pulaski , Richard D. and Pam A. Jones, Newbern; daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn J. and Rodger Pike, Va. Beach, Debbie J. and David W. Lineberry, Pulaski; sisters, Frances Parks and Buelah Kerr both of Pulaski; brothers, Kenneth Jones and Ralph Jones, both of Pulaski; grandchildren, Todd Pike, Susan Nicholson both of Va. Beach, Christy Jones, Raleigh, N.C., Craig Jones, Dublin, David "Buck Lineberry, II, John Jones, Tim Jones, Heather Slaughter and Ashley Lineberry all of Pulaski; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Rachel, and Victoria Nicholson, Danielle and Cameron Pike all of Va. Beach, Madison Jones, Dublin, Ginger Slaughter, Taylor Jones and Landace Lineberry all of Pulaski. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday June 1, 2010 from Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Howlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Thornspring Cemetery. Visiting will be Tuesday from 11 a.m. to the service hour. The Family welcomes flowers and memorials can also be made to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
