Kelly and Jill, It has been so long since I last spoke with you Jill but I saw this in the paper and my heart breaks for you - I myself just lost my husband, my soulmate, to cancer and I know fully the awful pain you are going through. I am praying for you all and if there is anything I can do please let me know. God is always in control and there is always a reason for everything if we just trust and believe. God bless you!! Travis was a great guy and better friend. He touched so many people with his personality and is kindness.. i miss him and wish i had more time to spend with him but will cherish the ones i had and miss him forever

I sit here and look at Travis's pictures hoping and praying that he would come back, this is the hardest thing that has ever hit me this hard. I miss him being here to make me smile on some of my hardest days. He was always here for me when I needed him . He's missed , by so many people . I'll be praying for your family . <3

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. When I met Travis for the first time we talked about how he and my daughter shared the same birthday. I had no idea at that time that they would meet two years later and become friends. Laura thought the world of Travis and spoke of him often and how he would always make her smile.
Travis was definitely an outstanding young man and he will be greatly missed.

Jill and Kelly, finding the right words to share with you in your loss is very difficult; but I do know "God gives us love and someone to love he loans us". Even though our path never crossed, the love of life and the gift of life is something we have in common. Now you must go on, move forward and allow time and memories to do its part and know that Travis is resting in God and doing what he loves to do. -Travis was such a wonderful guy. He accepted everyone as they were. He loved everyone for who they wanted to be. God saw his outstanding potential to become one of his most flawless angels. Although Travis won't be around to spread his love anymore,but he is sharing his love in a different perspective: watching down on all of us, which is more than we could ever have wanted from such a beautiful young man. As long as Travis is in our hearts,that's all that matters.God Bless the Carty Family.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

We are really going to miss you. You were part of our family. He always had a smile on his face and would be cracking jokes. I will remember his smile friday night when I gave him the tickets and how excited he was to go see Sami's gradutation. We were shoked but believe that God has plans for each of us and now it was time for Travis to join him . He will be missed by many because he touched the hearts of so many. We love you Travis.

I met Travis on his trip at Christmas a year ago, to Gulf Breeze. I watched as the played in the surf and football on the sand. A nice young man. I saw him again last month.
He tends to leave a smiling memory with thoes who just met him. May God care for him and help his family deal with a hard time. God bless you all.

I absolutely cannot imagine the pain you are experiencing - not only the family, but Travis' friend Bean who must be totally devastated. Many times Ellen would talk about Travis and how he would just pop in to see her and ask if there was anything he could do for her or if there was anything she needed. Those visits meant so much to her and will be precious memories; how they linger. I love all of you and my heart hurts. You know why I'm not there.
