Gracie Alderman Bolt

Gracie Alderman Bolt, 98, of Willis, Va., passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2010, at New River Valley Medical Center. Mrs. Bolt was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Bolt; and grandson, Kenny Joel Dalton. She is survived by her children and their spouses, S.G. and Pauline Bolt, of Willis, Virginia Sowder, of Dugspur, Lloyd and Betty Bolt, of Laurel Fork, Barbara and Bobby Collier, of Christiansburg, and Brenda and Kenny Dalton, of Willis; siblings, Delmer Alderman, of Hillsville, Pauline Turner, of Fieldale, Buel Alderman, of Meadows of Dan, and Lorine Goad, of Dugspur; 20 grandchildren; 33 greatgrandchildren; 14 great-greatgrandchildren; special cousin, Danny Webb; and special caregivers the staff of Heritage Hall Laurel Meadows and the Progressive Care Unit at New River Valley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2010, at VaughanGuynn-McGrady Chapel with the Rev. Dewey Weaver and the Rev. Howard Nester officiating and closing prayer by the Rev. S.G. Bolt. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery.
