Claudine Patrick Bannister (Teenie) Allen, 87, of Buchanan, Va., was born on August 27, 1922, to the late Daniel and Eva Patrick. She died on Sunday, June 13, 2010. She was married to Warren Harden Bannister and Joseph Allen, who both predeceased her. Teenie was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Shirley (Penny) and Arthur Thompson; her sister, Alline Spikes; her sister-in-law, Ethel Mae Bannister; her grandchildren, Sheri (Rodney) Rhodes, Denise Thompson, and Timothy (Charlene) Thompson; and her chosen granddaughter, Janie (Charlie) Ollie; her great-grandchildren, Darrel, Antwan, and Hope Thompson; great-greatgrandchildren, Dayvion and Zykeah Thompson; cousin, Geraldine Herring; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her siblings, Clinton, Elmer, Florence, Pauline, Mabel, and Charlotte. Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, June 18, 2010, in the Buchanan Chapel of Botetourt Funeral Home with the Rev. James Saunders officiating.
