To Mrs. Motley's family. I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Motley was my son's 1st. grade teacher. We loved her dearly. I still have my son's picture she did for Mother's Day. I will always cherish it. (That was years ago.) My thoughts & prayers are with her family.

To the Family of Barbara Macklin Carey Motley: I am deeply greived to hear of my childhood friend's passing. Its always difficult to hear of the passing of a friend that one has known a lifetime. I cannot remember a time that the Macklin family was not part of Sundays at Sweet Union, with Mr. Macklin on the organ and Mrs. Macklin on the piano. Barbara and I sang together from elementary school to High School. We used to talk Sundays by phone,... so many memories. I will never forget her and will always cherish our friendship. I extend my sincere condolences to her son, brother and other family members. May God Bless and Keep each and every one of you.
