Randy and Family,

I am sorry for your loss. May the memories of your mother fill your hearts in this time of need and forever. Always remember the good times she brought to each and every one of you. She did not do it because she had to do it but because of her love for you all. If I can be of any kind of help to you in the days to come, just let me know.

I will treasure the pickled beets recipe she gave me over the phone one time...a palmful of pickling spices and as much sugar as vinegar to cover the beets...and the story of canning outside. Priceless memory of a fine lady! Sue Dillon Elliott, Blacksburg, VA

for one who gives so much to others

its not the things that can be bought
that are lifes richest treasure,
its just the little heart gifts
that money cannot measure.....
a cheerful smile, a friendly word,
a sympathetic nod
are priceless little treasures
from the storehouse of god....
they are the things that cant be bought
with silver or with gold,
for thoughtfulness and kindness
and love are never sold....
they are the priceless things in
life for which no one can pay,and
the giver finds rich recompense
in giving them away. and who on
earth gives more away and does more good for others than understanding,
kind and wise and selfless,loving
mothers who ask no more than just the joy of helping those they love
to find in life the happiness
that they are dreaming of.
to the croy family
love and prayers
