Beulah Tyree Preston

Mrs. Beulah Tyree Preston, 94, of Rocky Mount, Va., passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2010. She was born on April 15, 1916, to the late Walker Tyree and Sarah Wade in Franklin County, Va. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Beverly Preston; and sons, Eddie Preston and Alvin Preston. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Annie (Andrew) Green, of Louisville, Ky., Mrs. Freda (Linwood) James, of Woodbridge, Va., and Mrs. Carolyn (Henry) Eggleston Sr., of Penhook, Va.; four sons, Mr. John Beverly Preston, Mr. William (Veria) Preston, Mr. Leon Richard Preston, and Mr. Connie Allen Preston, all of Rocky Mount, Va.; special friend, Mrs. Irma Preston, of Rocky Mount, Va.; 16 grandchildren; 31 greatgrandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2010, at Holy Trinity Missionary Baptist Church with Henry Eggleston Jr. officiating.
