I was shocked and saddened to hear about Bill's passing. I thought a lot of Bill..he was definitely one of a kind. Our thoughts are with his family and many friends.

I was so sorry to hear of "Billy's" passing. Your parents, as well as the rest of your family, were such a part of my growing up years that I only remember them with the fondest and warmest of memories. Well, warm most of the time, cause it sure did get cold in that big old house in Peterstown didn't it? Jane was, of course, my best friend in the world and my college roommate. My oldest daughter is named Elizabeth after Jane. I have been trying to think of a way to contact you for quite a while. I would love to see you, Vicki. I still live in Peterstown--only in Dr. Kersey's old home place. Please know that you all are welcome to our home anytime. Let me know your addresses or your emails. Hopefully we can get in touch. Once again, I am so sorry for your loss.

I am a friend and neghbor from Billy's youth. I remember the long hours we spent playing Tin Can Alley in his family's yard. He and his family will always be a big part of my best memories!
