William Francis McNally

William Francis McNally, 74, of Hardy, Va., died on Thursday, June 24, 2010, at his residence. He was born on March 10, 1936, in Brooklyn, N.Y., a son of the late Margaret Smith McNally and William McNally. William was a communicant of Resurrection Catholic Church. He was a retired foreman of the New York Racing Association. He enjoyed sports especially golf and fishing. William is survived by his wife, Marcia Jean Owens; three children, Billy McNally, of Pennsylvania, Donna Brenneis and husband, Ray ,of Long Island ,and Tara Holcomb and husband, Jonathan, of Glade Hill; four grandchildren, Christina and Michael, both of Long Island, N.Y., and Megan and Amanda, both of Glade Hill; one greatgrandchild, Destiny McNally; two brothers, Richard McNally, of East Meadow, N.Y., and Robert McNally, of Hardy, Va.; one sister, Eillen Holohan, of Moneta; one nephew and god son, Liam Holohan, of Middletown, N.Y.; and newly born great-nephew, Landon Holohan. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to FOE Eagles Club #4344, 4136 Diamond Hill Road, Moneta, Va. 24121, in honor of William F. McNally. A Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be held 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Moneta with Father Tom Collins officiating.
