Alfred R. McClung

Alfred R. McClung, 85, formerly from Oakmont, Pa., residing in Roanoke, Va., passed away on May 29, 2010, at Pheasant Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was preceded in death by his father, Loren; and his mother, Ruth McClung, of West Virginia; and also favorite cousins, Bill and Martha McClung, of Roanoke Va., Patty, and Ty Lambert, of Winston Salem, N.C. He is survived by cousins, Becky McClung, and Mack McClung, of Roanoke, Va., Andy Lambert, and his family, of Winston Salem, N.C., and Michael Lambert and his family, of Lexington, N.C. He was a retired Professor of Penn. State in the Engineering Department. He also served in the Army during WWII. A special thanks to Pheasant Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A very special thanks to Sherri and Mimi for their great help in Alfred's care. Memorial service will be held at a later date in West Virginia.
