Betty Aliff was a person who always thought of the love and gifts of our Lord in her life first .Therefore, she was able to reach out with a genuine love and kindness and offer friendship for all who knew her. She was patient and kind and quite a tennis player. She was fun loving and had a great sense of humor and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Marlene ( Ferrum)

Dear Doug, Years ago I sang in the choir with your mother when you were a boy. We were members of the Fine Arts Center and displayed our art work in the exhibits. She was truly an inspiration to all who knew her. I will always remember her smile and how she loved you and your father. I want to express to you my deepest sympathy in your loss.

Betty was a wonderful, sweet woman and the best neighbor anyone could ask for. I always admired her strength, independence, and active lifestyle. She was thoughtful and always concerned about others. My boys and I will miss seeing her smiling face.

Aunt Betty was an inspiration to all who knew her. Her God and family were the center of her life as anyone who knew her could attest. Please remember my Aunt Betty with smiles, not tears. She is now with Uncle Calvin, just as God wanted.

Aunt Betty was an inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know her. God, her husband Calvin and her son Doug were the center of her life. Aunt Betty studied life-at First Baptist, at Hollins University and in her community. Betty would not want us to grieve, but, to rejoice in her time on earth.
