Caroyln Turnwald Obituary

Carolyn West Turnwald, 60, of Blacksburg, passed away on April 3, 2010, after a short illness. She is survived by her husband, Grant; her mother, Louise Gerald; her sisters, Linda West, Mary and husband, Steven Miller, all of Baton Rouge, La. ; her children, John Scavona and wife, Stacie, Jana and husband, Heath Headrick, Tulsa, Okla., and Jamie Scavona, Edmond, Okla. Carolyn is also survived by six grandchildren, Kennedy, Jett, Summer, Bella, Reese, and Hudson. We all love and forever will remember her. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2010, at LSU Chapel, 3355 Dalrymple Drive, Baton Rouge, La., 70802. In lieu of flowers, memorial monetary or blood donations may be made to the American Red Cross. Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel and Crematory, 540-982-2100.
