Dear Poppop
well here I am dealing with a day that I had always hoped would never come.
Regardless of our family struggles throughout the years, I know that we had a bond that could never be broken.
Thank you for all of the laughter and memories that we made together and most importantly for making me the ''southern girl'' that I am today.
I just realized that your funeral is the same date that mommom died 38 years ago just as my wedding was the same date as mommoms funeral 20 years apart. Strange,isnt it?
I will carry your spirit with me always and I know you will hold me in your heart forever.
You are at peace now which you deserve.
I love you
