Curtis Edwards Obituary

Curtis Richard Edwards, 66, of Havre de Grace, Md., died on Saturday, April 24, 2010, in Harford Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Terry Edwards for 35 years. He was born in Galax, Va., to the late Terry R. and Zenna R. Edwards; loving father of Jeffrey Edwards and wife, Kim, of Lusby, Md.; dear brother of Marietta Hanks, of Christiansburg, Va., Raby Edwards and wife, Irene ,of Rising Sun, Md., and the late Cecil L.D. Edwards and Lucille Farmer; and proud grandfather of Charlene and Leigh-Ann Edwards. Curtis was raised Baptist, enjoyed bowling and yard work, was a member of Sons of Confederate Veterans and worked for the Public Health Service at Perry Point, Md. A funeral service will be celebrated in the family owned Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A of Aberdeen, Md., 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Friends were received in the funeral home on Monday evening. Interment will be in Darlington Cemetery. Condolences may be placed online for the family at www.tarringcargo.com.

I only knew Curtiss through our many e-mails. We shared many of the same beliefs about our country and government. He was a real friend and my heart goes out to his family. I will miss him, Jerry Wilkins
