I am so sorry. I have such fond memories of spending the summers with David at the lake. Eating ice cream at the Bridge and feeding the carp all day. Just enjoying each others company in the sunshine. He was such a gentle and warm soul. I will always remember his strength as I walk through my own struggles on Earth. When a former student and friend passes away - it touches us all! David was always upbeat, smiling, and had such a wonderful outlook on life - even while he was struggling with his own health.
